Frederick, or Fred Jinkins, as he is known to his many friends, has established a following as a great artist of distinction in many art forms over a period of several years. He's my very special friend and colleague, a prolific creator who has deftly refined his skills at creating in photography, watercolor, oil, and digital art. His artwork has been featured in many art shows and galleries. He has been a student of some well known and nationally known artists in the US. His artwork and photography have been in several galleries and published around the world.
I'm very pleased to announce that my painting, Vision Quest, was personally chosen today by a very distinguished fellow artist, Frederick Jinkins, to be featured on his popular Fine Art America group page. It's a very special group devoted to art by many multi-talented artists. They work in a variety of media. The purpose of this group is to assemble the artwork of artists whose goal is to paint or to create other forms of artwork each and every day.
See my painting, Vision Quest, at the art group, We Paint Every Day, and also see the fabulous work of many other artists, including the work of this Group's creator, Frederick Jinkins.
Once you land on the page, you can view more by clicking on the artwork. It will take you to details on the particular piece. Or, use the tabs at the top to find out more about group members, and perhaps even to join the group.

From my personal point of view, the characteristic that strikes anyone immediately about Frederick is how steadfast and unshakable is his gentle, friendly approach to all people and everything within his reach. His wonderful outlook gives so many artists and non-artists alike a renewed sense of hope and inspiration. People gravitate to him and his work for this reason. Besides being obviously due to his strong talent and high level of professionalism, his delight in spreading joy is another big reason that his artistic influence continues to extend itself far and wide.
All of his work embodies the expression of Fred's deep love for life. He often emphasizes that his purpose is to show the happy side of life. What a great example to us all on how to truly live! But don't be misled into thinking that such behavior is in any way a sign of weakness, which it definitely is NOT. This man is a Titan! His gentle and kindly ways arise from great inner reserves of strength, He has reached his mature years a very well-traveled man, a quietly sophisticated leader who is very highly respected by all his peers.

My approach to artwork as a source of healing has just been published as an article on 1stAngel Arts Magazine's blog. This is an internet arts magazine headed by artist/author, 1stAngel editor and founder Elizabeth Edwards. 1stAngel has attracted a large following not only in the UK, but internationally, due to Beth's dedication to spreading the word about the arts globally. See the full article here.
I used my dragon as an example of my artwork, but my philosophy as detailed in the article applies to everything I create. I always feel better the next day after spending a large portion of my time immersed in creating artwork. Sometimes it's a challenge juggling life with the "Work", but I've been blessed that no matter what else happens, nothing ever really interferes with my drive to create. I move between mediums. During different phases, I might paint pictures on canvas, create 3D objects of clay, design and make wire wrapped jewelry, or study and practice at some new medium which captivates me. This keeps the flow of creative inspiration fresh. Ideas flood my mind faster than I'm able to carry them out. I keep many sketches and notes so that when a new block of time arrives, I can refer to my records if I need help deciding which creative direction to take next. About Beth Edwards of 1stAngel Arts MagazineElizabeth Edwards, or Beth Edwards, as she's known to those of us happy to be among her many friends, is a very gifted artist. She has been a respected leader in the field of internet arts promotion for many years. 1stAngel was recently cited as one of the United Kingdom's top Arts information resources. Its main function is to connect artists and people interested in the arts. Its content is very diverse and entertaining. In it, you will see "News, Reviews, Interviews", pictures of artwork, artist biographies, and articles on a wide range of subjects. Here is 1stAngel's Facebook page. Beth has been a very active member of Fine Art America's (FAA's) website for many years. Her deep commitment as a moderator on the FAA forum eventually led to her securing a post on FAA's professional technical support team, where she currently serves all visitors to the website.
A revelatory experience is when you’re free of the illusion. My artwork is my revelatory experience. It comes from a totally innocent and pure place where there’s no guilt or fear. The whole thrust of my work has always been the intention to Bless, to see beyond the illusion and to engage people to do likewise. My passion is that my creations be viewed as an antidote for things people create to fuel negative energy or to deliberately harm the recipient. When I create, I receive deep healing. If my work has any value, it’s that healing from the purest Source is transmitted to the recipient if they can open themselves to it. That might explain why so many people say they feel good and enjoy seeing my artwork. They receive its benefits regardless who or what they/I think I am at any given moment. The Work doesn’t really come from me. If I might appear to be having any of my own personal conflicts from time to time, that’s not me. That is just a body that believes it can suffer. None of this is transmitted to anyone in any way through my artwork. I will experience a permanent shift so that I, too, will no longer experience suffering as real. The time this will happen is in the hands of my Divine. I am not the message, I’m only the medium. We all need to do a mental check on how we perceive a work of art. If it speaks to you, you can take it home and imprint it with whatever kinds of energy or emotions you respond best to. If you have the capacity to add the artist's good stuff to yours, you both will harvest more than what the 2 of you can separately. What I want to teach you is to not project your own ideas about who the artist is that in any way will energize fears or guilt about yourself or your own position in life. Our judgments cause us a multitude of failures to receive the most benefit from the things with which we surround ourselves. If the artist is basically a good person who means you no harm, leave it at that. You're not helping yourself if you persist in energizing a belief that the artwork has voodoo magic that will bring down a curse upon you. I was recently initiated as a deeksha - or Oneness Blessing - giver according to the teachings of an Indian avatar couple, Amma Bhagavan. With the enhancement of deeksha added to, and perfectly in line with, my original purpose, my artwork’s healing affects will broaden even further than before. No fearful thought can bring harm to anyone who gains ownership or sees my work. This Work can only Bless and heal. As more people receive the deeksha transmitted through my artwork, the goodness takes on a life of its own. It increases itself exponentially, extending far beyond my own personal capability to extend it. My deepest gratitude goes out to Amma Bhagavan for spreading the
message of Oneness and permanent healing of the mind. Oneness consciousness and the release from suffering that it brings are available to anyone, regardless of their ideas or opinions about the Divine. When we misuse the mind, we allow it to cause us needless fear and suffering. Suffering is to become a thing of the past. So shall it be. We are all One. |
