More Preservation Tips The best way to help extend the quality of its original appearance even further is never to hang it anywhere that light enters from a window or glass door and shines directly upon it. Also it's a good idea to keep it in an area of the room where the atmospheric moisture is balanced, with neither too much moisture which could penetrate the painting nor too much dryness such as from a fan blowing on it continuously over long periods of time. The paint will not run due to being sealed, but the cardboard upon which it's painted may not respond well to any extreme atmospheric conditions in the room where it's hung. It could buckle or warp. Please note: a small amount of warpage and buckling is normal for a painting on paperboard of this size. It won't interfere with the beauty or your enjoyment of the artwork. If you desire to hang this in an enclosed swim room, consult a professional on how to seal it or have it professionally done. Possibly with acid-free clear, non-yellowing laminating sheets.
